Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Riley celebrated her birthday with an Olympic themes party, so I had to wrack my brain to come up with something impressive! Not a whole lot of Olympic cakes out there to inspire me! The idea for the sugar flames came last minute as I knew I did not have enough time to make them from sugarpaste and rice krispie treats were just not inspiring me. Jett and I generally sit at the table together for an hour and a half. Wednesday, August 20, 2008. Finally updated my blog! First off Mike and I have quit smoking cigarettes. Yea 7 months! Can’t believe it. After two months of no smoking I decide to join weight watchers to start losing weight and getting in shape. Hopefully this is the year I stick to it. The first few months we just played it low key fighting our addiction. We didn’t want to tempt ourselves. Then in April we took a trip to Hollywood. Here is Artie hugging George Takei from Star Trek.
