Music in the Air. Holy Saturday is event-full too! At 6am there is a kind of show in one of the most central churches, the Panagia ton Xenon. They read from the Bible and when they reach the part where it describes the earthquake that was felt before Christ’s resurrection, they shut the doors and lights and they start banging everything (the temple, the chandelier, the seats) in remembrance of the event. Music in the Air. There are some things here and there but nothing special. The last act of Easter is on Tuesday. When at 6pm they put the mummy of the St Spyridon back in its case. The 2 older bands perform, Mantzaros and Palia (familiar names by now…), inside the Church each at a turn. Welcome to Church of the Highlands in San Bruno, California. This site has all of our information for Easter. We invite you to celebrate with us. If you have questions, please call us at 650.873.4095. We look forward to worshiping with you. Additional parking is available at the Church's lower lot located at the corner of Skyline Blvd and Sneath Lane. A shuttle service is provided to and from the Church and the lower lot throughout the services. Palm Sunday is March 29. March 29 at 8:30, 10 and 11:30 am.
