These are my explorations…. Marchese’s Olive Pit. April 3, 2011. MARCHESE’S OLIVE PIT. 1100 South First Street, Milwaukee WI. I don’t claim to be a pizza aficionado in fact, just the opposite. I pretty much avoid pizza because more often than not, it seems to be one of those foods that tastes okay (not good, not bad) but its main purpose is simply to fill your stomach. Well, I’ve come across a place that I can honestly say has really good pizza! Caramelized Onion and Mushroom Pizza. But it was okay.

These are my explorations…. April 13, 2011. 5715 North Bayshore Drive, Glendale WI. Oh dear. Well, I still think this place is great but maybe pasta just isn’t their thing. The first. Time I’ve left slightly disappointed. Vegetable Ravioli with Sauteed Shrimp. Mushy uck. But the sauce was good! So I ate the shrimp and left the rest. Perfectly done with that slight bit of crunch inside and my favorite part: those nice crispy leaves that fall off, just waiting to be scooped up and popped into your mouth!

These are my explorations…. Oh dear… back to avocados! March 3, 2012. Well, this didn’t turn out so well… I experimented with combinations of bacon, wilted spinach and marinated beef (hoisin, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, honey, etc).
