This pump was standing by the pond minding its own business when the tree crept up behind and embraced it. This Giant is looking down on two lilliputans. 6 miles 5 chaps. Guess 7 miles or so.

After they dug us out of the village Coffee Shop,we walked along roads to Westwell Church,up to the Gliding Club on the top of the downs and then down through the woods to Charing. Wednesday, September 24, 2014. LYMPNE - FOLKESTONE BIKE RIDE. Just 4 of us and 13 miles along the prom, VIDEO of another biker's ride. Lots of silly art things going on in Folkestone and a TV presence owing to immigrants being housed in an Hotel,on which there was more "art"in the shape of mountaineers tents suspended from the top tower.

After an extraordinarily long break 5 of us RV@ the car park and did a 5 mile walk through muddy paths.The sun shone,it was mild and the views were lovely. Anyway,we saw 3 of these chaps,not an unusual sight nowadays. Next week Charing windmill hill,exploring uncharted ground.
