This is from 2002 Taste of Home’s Quick Cooking cookbook. 1 package (16 oz) linguine. 1 cup chicken broth. 1 small onion, chopped. 2 garlic cloves, minced. 1 package (10 oz) frozen, chopped spinach, thawed and well drained. 2 tablespoons cream cheese. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese. 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. This is makes 10 servings, so I halved the recipe and it was good. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Thursday, April 7, 2011. 5 cups chicken broth. 3 1/2 cups shredded carrots. 1 cup chopped yellow summer squash. 3 cups torn fresh spinach. 1 package (9 oz) refrigerated cheese tortellini. In a large saucepan, combine broth, carrots, and squash. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 3 minutes. Stir in spinach and tortellini. Sunday, August 8, 2010. 1 envelop dried onion soup mix. 3 C hot water. 8-oz can tomato sauce. 1 T soy sauce. 1 cup slice dcarrots ( just poured in some baby carrots). 1 C cooked macaroni. 1/4 cup parmesan cheese. Combine all ingredients except macaroni and parmesan cheese in crock pot. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. add macaroni and parmesan cheese. turn to high and cook for 15-20 minutes. 3 T dried onion. 2 garlic cloves or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder. 4 C V-8 juice. 14 1/2oz. can stewed tomatoes. 2 C frozen corn.

Saturday, May 21, 2011. Applesauce, Oatmeal, Chocolate Chip Cookies. I love these cookies, so do Rex and the boys. They are even healthier than regular chocolate chip cookies. In fact I don’t particularly like regular chocolate chip cookies anymore. This is from a family cookbook. 2 tsp baking soda. 3 1/2 c flour. 2 c chocolate chips (I just dump the whole bag in). Put baking soda in the applesauce. Cream shortening, sugar, and eggs. Add applesauce and flour, etc. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

Saturday, October 23, 2010. 1 lb ground beef. 1 3/4 c water. 2/3 c bbq sauce. 1 Tbsp prepared mustard. 2 tsp dried minced onion. 2 c uncooked instant rice. 1 c shredded cheddar cheese. 5 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled. In a large saucepan, over medium heat, cook the beef; drain. Add water, bbq sauce, mustard, onion, and pepper. Bring to a boil; stir in the rice. Sprinkle with cheese. Honey Glazed Chicken Stir Fry. 12 oz skinless, boneless chicken breasts halves or thighs (I use 1 chicken breast). 2 Tbsp orange juice. 4 tsp soy sauce. 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch. 2 Tbsp cooking oil. 4 cups cut up veggies (I use broccoli). 2 cups hot cooked rice. 1 Cut chicken into bite size strips; set aside.
