New Tools, New Recipes! May 10, 2015. As promised, I have some yummy recipes to share! My mom recently bought some awesome Tupperware products and I am in cooking heaven! First I will start by saying that I love sweet potatoes and anything that has to do with them. They are absolutely delicious and you can prepare them so many different ways! Today I made baked sweet potato chips because I have a lovely mandolin that makes the job so much easier! Baked Sweet Potato Chips. New PR for 1st Half of the Year!

While picking up my boyfriends packet info for his 50 mile mountain bike race, I found the new balance tent and started checking out new running shoes. One piece of advice I have for people just starting out is to make the commitment. I found a pair of really good running shoes and spent over $100 on them which held me accountable to my goal. New PR for 1st Half of the Year! May 7, 2015. April 25th I ran my first half-marathon of the year and it was a great race! So we hopped in the car and had about a 45 minute drive to the race. This was my first race since I got injured last fall after the Detroit Marathon and I was ready for a PR. I had worked my butt off during training and it was reflecting in my times for my long runs leading up to the race, but you really never know how race day is going to go. Until next time,. If you did all of the exercises/stretches everyone recommends for a runner you would spend your entire free time recovering and preparing for runs. Runner could use some hip help.
