A research shop in the Netherlands. It was a great presentation, discussing the ways that the mass media is on the way out the door, and instead we now have "Me Media" It was fascinating. I got a chance to talk to the presenter at the bar afterwords and I think I impressed him. Links to this post. I have been craz...

The Life and Times of Pete Cailloux: 4x the Awesome
http://petejusthappened.blogspot.com/2011/03/4x-awesome.html
Friday, March 11, 2011. I'm currently working on a purchase for Amazon.com. I am getting a Thank You present for a friend, which costs $22.99. For the round $25 you can get free shipping with Amazon. So, why not try to find something that costs $2.01 instead of paying that or more for shipping? I considered my starting point. There have to be some "readable" books for that price, I thought to myself. How tough could that search be? As it turns out, very tough:. 311 - Meat: A Love Story. I'm trying to fig...

Monday, July 14, 2008. I have to admit I am a little bit amazed that I have stuck to this little workout plan. I still feel better, though I am not seeing any visible benefits. Thoughts of Brick: September 2007
http://thoughtsofbrick.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 26, 2007. So this is the Future Generation? Yesterday I had the pleasure of heading back to my Alma Mater, the glorious UCLA (University of Catonsville, Left of Arbutus), for their annual Career Fair. This was the first fair I had attended and it was a little odd going in as an employer as opposed to a potential employee. It made me feel old. I don't want to be old. I am a Toys 'R' Us Kid. I didn't gather that by your glancing at your resume, your inability to answer my question, you...

http://thoughtsofbrick.blogspot.com/2008/06/ive-turned-corner-no-really.html
Monday, June 30, 2008. I've Turned the Corner. No Really. So for the past three weeks or so I have been getting up every morning and tried to "Run" around my block. Now you may be asking why I have placed the word "Run" in quotes. There is a simple reason for this. It has been many many years since I have actually "Run". I would call what I am doing currently as accelerated walking. sort of. Uphill), left at Selford. With a little uphill and downhill) and then back onto Kelfield. To Francis and Selford.

The Life and Times of Pete Cailloux: Supporting the USPS
http://petejusthappened.blogspot.com/2012/01/supporting-usps.html
Tuesday, January 17, 2012. We all get letters from credit card companies, asking us to sign up for new credit cards, etc. Well, in those envelopes, there's always a return envelope saying "no postage necessary if mailed in the united states.". I want to bring your attention to another part of that envelope . Do you see how it says " postage will be paid by addressee. Well, instead of simply recycling the letters, why not send them back to the credit card companies. She gets to continue to work.

http://thoughtsofbrick.blogspot.com/2008/06/what-wonderful-ryanluck.html
Thursday, June 26, 2008. What a Wonderful Ryanluck. So a couple weeks ago my team at work decided that it would be an awesome idea to hold a little potluck to celebrate the fact that the remaining individuals were. well. remaining. Being the foodie I am I got all sorts of excited. Due to the varying food preferences. Within my group it was decided that Herbivore. Would be a great theme for the potluck. Being the diplomatic person I am, I decided to make a dish that fell into both categories. And the best...
