Wednesday, February 20, 2013. While living during the Edwardian era did have some drawbacks - rigid social hierarchies, the risk of dying from. well. everything - it was pretty awesome if you had a lot of money because you could pay people to do everything for you. Heck, rich people weren't even expect to get dressed on their own. Oh yes they did. When she decides to leave Downton Abbey and they kill off Anna next season. emjay's course: January 2014
http://emjayscourse.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
A blog about a little bit of everything. Thursday, January 30, 2014. I hope you all have been staying warm wherever you are. Snow is rarity on our little island and we did get just a little bit- around half an inch, I'm guessing. The county closed our offices at noon on Tuesday {it was getting icy}, we were closed Wednesday, and I was told yesterday evening that we would be closed today, too. We take snow very seriously here! Is it cold where you are? What are you doing to stay warm? Links to this post.

Sometimes life just smacks you in the face and you forget how to cope with everyday things. But hopefully, you figure out how to get by. Or you just fake it until you make it. Either way. Resolutions are a funny thing. Most of us make them, but most of us also break them before February even gets here. And finally, I will learn how t...

emjay's course: Vegetable Polenta Bake
http://emjayscourse.blogspot.com/2015/03/vegetable-polenta-bake.html
A blog about a little bit of everything. Friday, March 6, 2015. Hi, friends. I hope all of you are having a great week. Life of voluntary unemployment is fun so far. I've been spending the week in a Substitute Teacher training class (because it could be useful someday) and doing all sorts of things I never got around to doing, like visiting the gardens again, painting pottery, and spending afternoons taking pictures. Here's to bigger and better adventures! At my local Whole Foods. 1 bell pepper, chopped.

The musings of a rather silly man. The PR’s PRs. The first thing was, I learned to forgive myself. Then, I told myself, ‘Go ahead and do whatever you want, it’s okay by me.’ Jack Handey. You may say that I fell flat on my ass. I prefer to think of it as an accidental false start. Yeah, that’s not gonna happen . . . Why not use that?

Theology and Geometry: Five Things Friday
http://theogeom.blogspot.com/2013/02/five-things-friday.html
Friday, February 22, 2013. 1 We went to two baby story times this week - one at the Monroe St. library and one at the Middleton library. We did some songs and little finger plays and read a couple children's books. I liked the activities, but honestly, anyone can write a kid's book. 2 I took advantage of the library outing to pick up this. And this (hat tip, Andy). I started reading Stiff (aloud) today while I was nursing Scott, and I think we're both going to like it. Labels: Getting back into shape.

Theology and Geometry: Thoughts on being a SAHM/ returning to work
http://theogeom.blogspot.com/2013/01/thoughts-on-being-sahm-returning-to-work.html
Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Thoughts on being a SAHM/ returning to work. I'm not going to be a stay-at-home mom (SAHM) - I knew that way back when conceiving Scott was still on the "to-do" list - but I've had the past 6 weeks to get a little taste of what that would be like. First, being a SAHM mom is hard! Scott is by far the most demanding boss I've ever had to answer to. You want to go to the bathroom before you feed me for 1/2 hour? You want to eat the last 2 bites of your dinner before you feed me?
