Meagan's World: June 2008
http://meagans-world.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 23, 2008. Tongiht is my last night in Chennai.it is hard to believe that I will see Matt in less than 30 hours. Woo hoo! It has been a tumultuous last few days, full of marathon-length meetings and some tension but luckily it is all over. Hopefully things will progress more smoothly when I am back here in August. I am actually looking forward to the flight. I love flying! And so far, I love British Airways. I will be in heaven if I get upgraded again, but I am not holding my breath. The Bedr...

Meagan's World: Thanksgiving
http://meagans-world.blogspot.com/2008/11/thanksgiving.html
Thursday, November 27, 2008. Matt and I decided to eat Thanksgiving dinner at the Plimoth Plantation this year. It was sort of interesting, but we both agreed that in the end it is way more fun to spend Thanksgiving with friends and family. We haven't been home for Thanksgiving for SO many years.hopefully some day we will make it back. The food was ok, but nothing beats homecooking. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Friday, December 19, 2008. Last weekend my good friend Meredith had a tea party.it was so much fun.I am so sad to leave all my friends here! But, I am definitely not sad to leave the cold. It is getting colder by the minute.literally, there is a huge snow storm hours away that is supposed to bring an inch of snow a minute. Oy! I am happy to be leaving this place for nicer weather. Also, I look very pregnant in this photo. Don't get excited though.sadly, there is nothing I am not telling you.

Meagan's World: Update
http://meagans-world.blogspot.com/2008/11/update.html
Monday, November 10, 2008. So, I think probably most people that know Matt and I know that we do things late. Everything.we eat late, come to parties late, respond to emails and phone calls late, celebrate holidays late.so, in out usual style, we carved our Halloween pumpkins late (well into November! Hopefully I will be more punctual after I am out of school. It's not like I am asking him to change my diapers or something. But still, I am feeling really bad about this. Something could still work...Anywa...

Pajama Empress: Reinvention
http://pajama-empress.blogspot.com/2007/04/reinvention.html
Friday, April 27. Something bad happened yesterday, seemingly a minor setback. My former-soon-to-be employer got rid of me, I'm not even sure why, after fucking two months of stringing me along and pushing back my start date. I am feeling like a fool for believing that something would work out so easily for me, and absolutely humiliated that I could just be dropped for seemingly no reason. This is the list of things I wrote last night:. I want to start contributing to Farrago. And some other publications.

Pajama Empress: Possums
http://pajama-empress.blogspot.com/2007/04/possums.html
Wednesday, April 25. The little possums came to visit tonight, in a rather alarming fashion. I had not fed them for a couple of days and they were obviously hungry. As soon as I opened the balcony door they came scampering up to me, sniffing my shoes and clawing at my ankles. My mind is turning to creative ways of making money that involve my (lack of) talents. Nothing comes. Something:. Modelling for life drawing classes. Getting a busking license and dusting off my vocal cords. And raves about all thei...

Pajama Empress: Reconnecting with the Kitchen God
http://pajama-empress.blogspot.com/2007/05/reconnecting-with-kitchen-god.html
Wednesday, May 9. Reconnecting with the Kitchen God. Last night I was seized by a unshakable desire to cook something; I wasn't actually hungry, I just needed to do something. So I made Clotilde's gorgeous Soupe de Courgette au Sésame. Which was beautiful - I ran into an unforeseen obstacle when I had to find tahini at the supermarket though, they only had really huge expensive jars, and black sesame seeds? Pajama Empress: October 2006
http://pajama-empress.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 29. Legend of the Dog-Faced Woman. My aunt. I shudder at the very thought of her. she's horrible. Never before have I met anybody so pig-headed, small-minded, selfish, stupid, unreasonably arrogant, racist, rude and idiotic as her. She's quite simply a waste of space. Today at my cousin's birthday party, we were sitting on the patio talking about Al Gore. My Dad was telling the others about his views and what he had seen in An Inconvenient Truth. Will it be underwater? Links to this post.
