Eating From The Homestead: Zucchini Bread

http://eatingfromthehomestead.blogspot.com/2015/07/zucchini-bread.html

Eating From The Homestead. A blog dedicated to raising what you eat, eating what you raise, cooking from scratch and loving every bite. Saturday, July 11, 2015. Haven't posted in a while but it's not because we aren't cooking around here. Summer is upon us and with that comes zucchini. Lots of zucchini! We have been eating it almost daily off the grill, in stir fries and today I made this bread. Slightly sweet and delicious, it will be a perfect snack or breakfast for the week. 1 1/2 c. white flour.

Eating From The Homestead. A blog dedicated to raising what you eat, eating what you raise, cooking from scratch and loving every bite. Thursday, November 1, 2012. Lots of delicious turnips are being harvested now. Wanting something a little different, I created this recipe for turnip au gratin. It is fantastic! Thinly slice turnips. I used a mandolin. Repeat with turnips and cheese, ending with turnips. Next make a white sauce. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Http:/ www.animalvegetablemiracle.com.

Eating From The Homestead. A blog dedicated to raising what you eat, eating what you raise, cooking from scratch and loving every bite. Thursday, May 15, 2014. We are not gluten free around here but I had heard so much about using black beans instead of flour I just had to give it a try. Oh my! Awesome. And so easy! I used duck eggs because I have them and I love baking with them. However, regular work as well. 1 15 oz. can of black beans rinsed and drained. 3 duck eggs or 4 large chicken eggs.

Life on the Homestead. A diary of the day to day happenings on our homestead. The good days, the bad days and those bordering on total chaos. Monday, May 11, 2015. Well we have made it through 12 days and we have no growling goats or slobbering sheep. The rabies threat seems to have passed thankfully into the past. Today was the first day I did much hands on with the animals other than feeding and watering. Some hoof trimming was in order. A hot but busy day on the homestead! What's Growing On The Farm:.

Both little ewes thank goodness! One is going to be a solid moorit and one a moorit gray. If their mom holds true they will both be polled as she only puts horns on her ram lambs. This cutie was the one born earlier and finally was ready for her photo debut! Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Tuesday, April 28, 2015.

Eating from the Garden...growing...

July 20, 2014. Now on to the market! This one is in a neighborhood named Proctor, which is described on Wikipedia as an "urban village". It's quite charming. This market, in our opinion, has the best selection of local farm offerings around. More food and less crafts, not that I have anything against crafts, but I want a farmers' market with foooooodddddddd! Notice that charming fellow in the background who offered to carry the bags. He was a bonus! July 16, 2014. 8221; But guess what? That still didn't ...
