Eating Olives With My Dogs: Another snowy update..

http://eatingoliveswithmydog.blogspot.com/2011/01/another-snowy-update.html

Eating Olives With My Dogs. Blogging the pitfalls and the highlights of moving alone (with your dogs) to rural Italy. Sunday, 30 January 2011. Have been meaning to update for a while and just never got round to it! Here I am at last. We have had some lovely sunny warm weather since the last snow dollop and then last week we had a big snow storm and a LOT of snow! So firstly a few piccies of the snow. My cabin slowly getting buried. The dogs up to their armpits. Kofi wading through it. Before the snow hit...

Eating Olives With My Dogs: September 2010

Eating Olives With My Dogs. Blogging the pitfalls and the highlights of moving alone (with your dogs) to rural Italy. Wednesday, 29 September 2010. When I first came to see the land there was no mention of wind.after I had signed the deal, my neighbours began talking about not just one wind but something called the ' seven winds. It's not windy everyday but it can come out of nowhere, be very strong and then just disappear in a second. It is lovely and much heavier, and this time we concreted it down!

Eating Olives With My Dogs. Blogging the pitfalls and the highlights of moving alone (with your dogs) to rural Italy. Tuesday, 25 May 2010. Ready for the off. Has been a busy few days here, saying goodbye to everyone and packing things up. We managed to get most of the stuff in my dads car but not all, but got all the important things in anyway! My own little car is groaning under the weight of dog toys, both of the boys were a bit miffed to see all their toys being taken away and put under the boot.

Eating Olives With My Dogs: More snow..

http://eatingoliveswithmydog.blogspot.com/2010/12/more-snow.html

Eating Olives With My Dogs. Blogging the pitfalls and the highlights of moving alone (with your dogs) to rural Italy. Saturday, 18 December 2010. We had lots more snow over the last couple of days. The dogs really enjoyed playing in it and it tired them out bouncing around in it (especially looking for stuff I had buried in the snow for them to find! The snow did bring it's own problems though. I decided I needed to do some washing as I was running out of socks. Note the icicles on the tea towel) haha.

Eating Olives With My Dogs: January 2010

Eating Olives With My Dogs. Blogging the pitfalls and the highlights of moving alone (with your dogs) to rural Italy. Wednesday, 13 January 2010. Did I say in my last post that I had received planning permission for the cabin? Meanwhile we survived a particularly cold winter in the summerhouse. It's actually quite warm in here with a portable radiator so it's been ok. And snow is preferable to mud! The dogs have enjoyed it, and Kofi is growing up fast! Some pictures of the last week or so.

Eating Oklahoma | Finding authentic foreign cuisine in Oklahoma City

Finding authentic foreign cuisine in Oklahoma City. God Save the Queen. Ah, Ethiopian food. The very mention of it conjures up images of. . . what, exactly? I’ll be honest with you, I had no idea what to expect from Ethiopian cuisine before trying it for the first time. A small part of me, maybe the insensitive part, wondered if it might involve scarce portions that left one feeling only barely nourished. Little did I know, Ethiopian is some of the most rich, flavorful, and filling food around. Tear off ...

Eating Olives With My Dogs

Eating Olives With My Dogs. Blogging the pitfalls and the highlights of moving alone (with your dogs) to rural Italy. Tuesday, 17 May 2011. The kennels idea has sadly met with too much red tape to be viable and after much consideration I have decided to sell up here and move back to the UK. It hasn't been that easy here on my own, and as nice as the locals are, I don't have very much in common with them. I shall eternally be known as the weirdo who has dogs in the house with her! Then please contact me.

Eating on $21 a week

Eating on $21 a week. The goal is to eat on $21 per week per person, so for me this is a total of $21. I only have a window of $10 in which I can go over thus. I must by all means remain under $31 and if possible not go over $21 in one week prior to tax. My stomach is already growling. Sunday, October 3, 2010. Sunday the day finish line.
