I saw Chili Mac made on a TV show and it looked like a tasty, kid-friendly meal. So I found a few different recipes for it, you know, to find out what various people put into their Chili Mac. After a few tries, this is how I have decided that I like it. 2 lbs ground beef. 1 brown onion (chopped). 1 jalapeño (seeded and chopped). 3 Tbsp Mexican chili powder.

So today Kate accomplished 2 new skills. 1 - I put Kate in the seat of a shopping cart for the first time ever today. It took her about 15 minutes to figure out how to turn around backward and stand up in the cart! Boy was she mad when I told her, "No no Kate" and sat her back down, tightening the strap as tight as it would go! She's on the stairs!
