It's a fun way to get a gift and chat with other girls. This party has been a tradition for at least 7 years now and is still going strong! Last year we had a great turnout of over 20 girls. I would have to report you. :) So the wonderful Ashley Webb that was the blog boss here, before the baton was passed to me, sent me a great list of restaurants in the Des Moines area that get the stamp of approval. Friday, October 5, 2012. Just this past week I was thinking that nothing really big has happened lately; wrong thing to do! Although the day ended on a sour note, our Wednesday was completely normal to start. Kyle left for school early (7 am - yuck! There is still a chance that we will have to do that when we go back in for another follow up on Thursday, but for now he put some pressure on the arm prior to putting the final cast on. Monday, October 24, 2011. September and October have been filled with lots of happenings and news. We started the month off by celebrating Kyle's and my 4th Anniversary! We were able to spend most of the day hanging out with one another and just enjoying each other's company. Our gift to one another was tickets the musical "Wicked." We saw it together once and really enjoyed it, so when we heard it was coming here we hurried and bought tickets. Next bit of news: we are MOVING! Thirdly: Kyle got a job!

Friday, December 16, 2011. October and November seemed to fly by at our house! Below you will find some highlights from these 2 months. Well, actually most of them are from October; November was pretty uneventful since we spent a lot of time unpacking and getting settled in the new house. Right next to where we parked our car there was a large tree, which meant lots of leaves (or "eaves" as KJ calls them). We had a pretty warm day so I took KJ out to play in them. He LOVED it! This kid LOVES tractors!

Monday, August 12, 2013. Land that I love! Oh well I guess there is a season for everything right? After lots of playing in the sand and soaking up some sun.oh ya and Elle Rae getting taken out by a beach umbrella.kinda crazy. We headed home and all tooks naps:) Naps on the 4th? Yes it was so nice! After naps we headed out to a BBQ with some good friends and as usual on any holiday ate WAY too much food. Nellena Rae had a ball playing with all the "Big" girls.
