Ruby and Charlee | Ron's View
https://ronsview.org/2014/01/16/ruby-and-charlee
January 16, 2014. It’s not my intent to turn Ron’s Blog into Our Cute Kitties. But really, how can I resist? The eight-month-old sisters joined us. Twelve days ago. Under strict orders from Janice the adoption supervisor, we confined them initially to a small bathroom. Too small. After two days ago, we brought them upstairs to a bedroom/exercise room. Now they range beyond it to the adjacent bathroom. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public). A Visit to APO. Get eve...

Cafe Parco | Ron's View
https://ronsview.org/2012/01/09/cafe-parco
January 9, 2012. Gail and I had dinner last night at the newest restaurant in the neighborhood, Cafe Parco. It was our first visit, and we anticipate returning often. Cafe Parco occupies the small Madison Park house that was the long-time home of the popular Madison Park Cafe. For no good reason, we rarely went there. Indeed, I don’t think we’ve been for over a decade. The owner, Karen Binder, closed in August, prompting an appreciation. By Seattle Times restaurant writer Nancy Leson. It took two more mo...

Archive for the ‘Cats’ Category. Ruby and Charlee Turn One. May 25, 2014. I introduced Ruby and Charlee. On Ron’s View January 5, the day after they moved into the house. (See updates here. Four days ago, they celebrated their first birthday. I couldn’t get them to pose for a photo, or even just to face me. The picture above is the best I could do. They took no special interest in the proceedings. The day went pretty much as usual, food being the highlight as always. March 20, 2014. They do have each oth...

Thanks for Nothing | Ron's View
https://ronsview.org/2014/05/18/thanks-for-nothing
May 18, 2014. Today’s NYT Magazine has an article. That I started reading online yesterday. It features a Nebraska farmer, Jane Kleeb, who is fighting the Keystone pipeline. Keystone brings oil from Alberta down to the US for shipment to points beyond. Its expansion to the Gulf Coast is an on-going political issue.) The article explains that. This post isn’t about the pipeline, though. It’s about the sentence that introduces Jane:. How would one pronounce that? How does the tip help? Daniel R. Grayson.

Hierarchy Established | Ron's View

March 20, 2014. They do have each other. For the most part that’s a comfort. But Charlee does move Ruby out of choice spots every so often, and when they play chase, Ruby assumes the role of chasee to Charlee’s chaser. There’s no uncertainty about who’s in charge. Which they couldn’t have made more clear in assuming the pose above this afternoon. Hang in there Ruby. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Whatever is on my mind: December 2009
http://ramcduffwhatever.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Whatever is on my mind. Wednesday, December 2, 2009. My love blog to West Cliff (and Angela). E-on-West Cliff idea was bare minimum, I knew, but it was, at least, something. I am pretty sure that if I continue this I will be healthier, happier and, most likely, live longer. All because of Angela's coaxing! May you have someone like Angela in your life. So, let’s take a stroll with Angela, shall we? We meet at her daughter’s school, Gateway, after she drops her off. I ride over on my bike to meet her.

Whatever is on my mind: Update
http://ramcduffwhatever.blogspot.com/2013/08/update.html
Whatever is on my mind. Thursday, August 1, 2013. I haven't written on this blog for a long time! In terms of the tonsil cancer, all is well and there is no sign of it. I have another blog just this year—2013—dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Richard Wagner's birth. It's here. Maybe I will be back here in 2014. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
