A great dish, featured in Nobu books in several variations. My version was a simplified one from his first book. Mix a good mayo with some garlic/chile sauce. Butterfly shrimp but don’t peel (1.5lb – 20cnt/lb). Saute sliced portobello (3 large) until just limp. Broil for 5mins or until shrimp is ready. Posted in What's for Dinner.

Eat sip. love. So this is a review for Barrel and Ashes in studio city. We have been wanting to try this BBQ place for nearly a year now and finally we got to go! We had reservations at 8:15 but thought we would try getting In earlier. We pulled up to the restaurant and boy was it packed! Not a big menu, more of an a la carte style dishes. Not crazy expensive either. We ordered drinks and decided on our order. Sweet and salty and spicy all at once. Amazing. Would I come here again? Posted at 2:04 AM.

Originally uploaded by Russian Banana. 1lb of mature mushrooms finely chopped. 1/3cup of olive oil. Half of a small onion. 1/2 cup of tomato paste (parmalat). 1/4 cup of cinzano rosso. I usually make a batch and pour it a large glass jar and store in the fridge. I often find sneaking a spoonful during the day helps satisfy my sugar cravings and I genuinely don’t feel like anything else as a treat. Here goes:.
