SheRuns~Locker Room Chatter...: Team Member Judy wants to know what's on your IPOD?
http://sherunsonline.blogspot.com/2008/08/team-member-judy-wants-to-know-whats-on.html
Sunday, August 17, 2008. Team Member Judy wants to know what's on your IPOD? WHAT'S ON YOUR IPOD. I don't know about everyone else, but for me, the I-Pod. Has made it possible for me to run again. Getting my former couch potato self off and running always meant dealing with that part of myself that whines loudly and unceasingly, like a kid on a cross country road trip. You know what I mean. "I can't breath." "My feet hurt." "Are we done yet? You mean we've only gone one tenth of a mile? Other songs that ...

Live Your Ideal Life: What's Happening?!
http://liveyourideallife.blogspot.com/2010/07/whats-happening.html
Wednesday, July 7, 2010. So many things are happening on my end, so I thought I would update my 2 readers (mom and dad). I've been writing this blog for about almost 2 years now. I had no idea where it was going back then, I just knew I loved to write, needed an outlet for all the things I needed to say and knew I would eventually have a blog when I started my coaching business. So, almost 2 years later, my coaching business is being born. Your Kick Ass Life is almost here! Also, I have a new Facebook.

Live Your Ideal Life: The Gremlin, The Mannequin and Joan Jett
http://liveyourideallife.blogspot.com/2010/05/gremlin-mannequin-and-joan-jett.html
The Gremlin, The Mannequin and Joan Jett. Wednesday, May 5, 2010. Warning: Strong language included in this post. I’ve started this post a few times, and have never finished or posted about my saboteur. It was a homework assignment from my coach about a year ago; one that I never completed (See, even coaches are bad clients sometimes). I think back then I was afraid to rip the band aid off and show everyone my saboteur. Well, enough hiding, here she is:. Do you think I'm totally crazy yet? This is a grea...

Live Your Ideal Life: July 2010
http://liveyourideallife.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 27, 2010. On Sunday I went to the gym for the first time in a long time. I did an easy swim, quickly changed and got on the treadmill. Plugged my ipod in, pushed all the buttons and started running. And all the memories came back. Like a Mack truck. On Sunday I ran for only 20 minutes, but in that time I thought about how I used to be when I was on the treadmill. Makes me happy. I'm sure of it. Links to this post. Life Changing. Experience. Friday, July 16, 2010. Had someone told me that on...

Live Your Ideal Life: Letter to my body
http://liveyourideallife.blogspot.com/2009/04/letter-to-my-body.html
Letter to my body. Friday, April 17, 2009. Making peace with your body isn't as easy as just saying you are going to do it, at least not for me. It's taken work and commitment. I never want to pass on body image issues to my children and needed to make a change. This letter forced me to take responsibility for my actions, forgive myself for what I had done, and move on. I love you. I really, really do. I love you now more than ever. Photo courtesy of soartsyithurts. Andrea - this is such a beautiful post...

Live Your Ideal Life: Can we ever fully recover?
http://liveyourideallife.blogspot.com/2009/12/can-we-ever-fully-recover.html
Can we ever fully recover? Monday, December 7, 2009. Recently, I finally got around to reading the book, " It's Not About the Food. Esther was kind enough to personally mail me a copy months ago and being pregnant and then having a newborn, it has sat in my living room calling out to me every few days. I wanted to touch on one thing she writes while telling her own story of disordered eating because it jumped out at me at a perfect time. She writes:. Recovering and that it is. I'll share with you a perso...

And remember: "Life's a garden, dig it! Links to this post. I did it because I was scared. Tuesday, September 7, 2010. I’m not too sure. You'll probably come in dead last! Therefore it was easier for me to just be scared. So I declared I would leave my gremlin at home and bring my badass self to the swim. Done! However, on the drive...

Live Your Ideal Life: I did it because I was scared
http://liveyourideallife.blogspot.com/2010/09/i-did-it-because-i-was-scared.html
I did it because I was scared. Tuesday, September 7, 2010. I’m not too sure. As I’ve been training in the pool, the drain thing has gotten a bit easier to deal with. It stays put, so I’m happy. On Sunday, I signed up for a swim clinic for beginners. I was so sick with anxiety, in the days leading up to it I almost vomited twice. Two days before the clinic, this was my Facebook status:. You'll probably come in dead last! So, I went. I wasn't exactly choreographing synchronized swimming routines and I ...
