A Bent Look at Self Contained Touring. Where has eBent Been? The good news is that eBent/Roland is doing really well. He’s lost 50 pounds and is cycling more than ever. The bad news is that after losing 50 pounds he’s gone back to the dark side and is riding a diamond frame again and loving it. A Bent Look at Self Contained Touring. BikeE FX for Sale. Update – 05/02/08 – Bike is no longer available – on loan. I’ve added the Slipstream to my stable and need to free up some space in the Garage for Jeanne’s Car this winter. So the BikE FX is the logical candidate. It has above seat steering that is preferred by most riders but all of my other bikes have USS. It is a very rugged bike and a great starter recumbent with not many miles on it. Breakfast is the usual time, 7 AM but RO and I don’t hit the road until 8 AM. Rand says he’ll join us along the way. It is very humid and foggy as we start our ride but starts to clear around 9:30. Told group to keep going so never got to ride with David Knight again. Worried about R-O but PW was taking care of him. Chandler fixed the spokes and I was back on the about an hour behind the group. Breakfast is at the “A” House and we need to ride over there. It is a surprisingly cold morning, 46 after so many 75 degree mornings.
