Thursday, December 15, 2011. On December 4th, we set out to find our Christmas tree. We headed about 30 minutes away to our favorite Christmas tree farm. It was cold out, here's Mylie all bundled up. The tree directly behind Mylie is the one we took home. We usually end up with a Noble Fir, this year we ended up with a Blue Spruce. Once we found our tree, Eric went to get the saw. Thursday, May 13, 2010. In this picture, Mylie was caught off guard, that's why there's no super cheesy smile. This picture was taken last night. Notice the dishtowel, I mean cape, around her. She was pretending to be a Wonder Pet all day. She fell asleep sitting in daddy's chair. She also fell asleep while drawing. I had to pry the pen from her grasp when I took her to bed. Tuesday, November 23, 2010. It started snowing Sunday. Eric took this picture of us standing in the snow. You can't tell, but the snow is falling on us. Mylie was so excited, she kept saying "I wanna make a snowball." Eric and I both told her she'd have to wait until there was a bit more snow. By Monday morning, there was a bit more snow. Sunday, October 2, 2011. Last night the kids and I went over to Erica's house for a birthday party. Erica is Eric's sister. Her husband, Rob, and their two boys, Trevor and Cameran all have birthdays close to one another. We celebrated with pizza and various desserts. Here's a picture of Eric's Aunt Debbie and my mom at the party. Mr Micah loves Tante Erica and Uncle Rob's house. Lots of room to run and lots of people to play with. Thursday, August 4, 2011. Weeds, Oh Deer! It' been quite warm since I last posted. Well, quite warm for us here. Those of you living elsewhere probably don't think upper 70s to low 80s is hot. We've spent a lot of time outside. This planter is one area I've tackled in the last few days. As you can see in the before picture, it was a mess. Overgrown bushes and a ton of weeds. It's amazing how quickly weeds grow. Now when you come over, I won't be completely embarrassed when you walk up to the front door.

Friday, March 19, 2010. Where you live the fact that spring is right around the corner may not make much difference to you. For us, it's a really big deal! Trees and plants will be getting new leaves soon. Bulbs have begun to pop up. Flowers will be blooming. More birds and other wildlife will be in our yard more often. We can't wait! Thursday, March 10, 2011. These pictures were taken the very end of Feburary. We had very late season snow. This is after it began to melt a bit. We bundled up and played outside until they were both wet. This was the first time Micah had walked in the snow all by himself. In November when it snowed, he wasn't walking much yet.
