A Registered Alien in Ebetsu. Life and times as a JET in Ebetsu, Japan! Monday, August 23, 2010. My previous post described a Japan where I, a six-foot-tall blond haired, blue eyed American was nothing worth a second glance. Perhaps if I knew enough Japanese to strike up the occasional conversation with a strangers, my interactions while out and about could be more meaningful. Part of this experiance, however, has changed as of late. This is awesome. I hope 14 year old boys call me kawai!
