Thursday, January 7, 2010. 10 The Truman Show. For the film presentation , I watched "The Truman Show" for the first time and I said to myself "Why have not I watched this movie before? It was both funny and message delivering film by making us think about the increasing role of media in our lives. Jim Carrey makes the film better by his enthusiasm.I do not know if media will put hundreds of cameras looking at our private life but I know that media' s effect is increasing by time. 10 Killing us Softly.

In my opinion, reality tv can be beneficial but not in these conditions that become a bad example for generations.It is harmful by constructing unreal fights,loves,arguments,friendships in a real supposed to be place. I hope that we students will learn much more than Eng 101 in Eng 102.Eng 101 was good but I think that as Sonja said too 102 is better for being more detailed and allowing us to do academical research.
