What is Ebstein’s Anomaly. There is just a handful of heart centers in the United States that performs the advanced and innovative cone procedure for repairing the tricuspid valve in children with Ebstein’s anomaly. In this procedure, extra tissues on the enlarged right side of the heart are folded up, and the malformed valve is surgically reshaped into a cone. Sunday, August 26, 2012. Saturday was our second annual Congenital Heart Walk, near Children's Hospital. We had great cool weather and a huge turnout. After two laps around the course, Davis woke up from his nap and we had some time to visit with friends and celebrate the event. It's always inspiring to see so many families pulling together to support each other and the great cause. The Mallory-Sanderson family and our "Walkin for Davis" team post walk. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Attaching the pulse oximeter to Davis' toe/foot has been a daily occurrence for us since his birth. Although it's certainly not a normal thing to do, it had become our normal. Post surgery his blood oxygen levels have been steadily improving to the point where last week we had him on only 1/8 liter flow (just a whiff) and he was still showing 96% oxygen, which is perfect! Holding hands with his friend Penelope. Having some Coke cake for Kelly's birthday. ANDit was a hit.

Sunday, January 29, 2012. Tonight we had a family celebration for Davis coming home safe and sound. The food we missed the most in MN was good Mexican. So we picked La Loma restaurant and met up with my parents, Jason, Zach and Katie and enjoyed a delicious meal together. Davis had a great time and ate a huge dinner himself. :). Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Davis has a new favorite thing.DIGGERS! He's totally obsessed, requests to go look for them everyday and uses his self made sign for them regularly. I was at Kohls the other day and found two digger shirts on the clearance rack.SCORE! He adores them and yesterday wore the one in the picture and proceeded to point to the digger on his shirt and make the sign for them all day.as if showing me "Did you see this cool digger on my shirt? Has anyone seen Davis's hands?
