I can't say I've ever been more excited about starting a new year. 2010 was a tough one. But instead of whining, bitching and crying - I'm going to list what I've learned this past year. Having a happy, healthy child is the greatest gift of all. 2010 has taught me to be a little more logical and little less emotional. I can't fix people but i can nurture, teach and love my children.

Especially given the fact that 99% of the 3 people that read this silly blog probably checked their facebook before reading this post. Even when I'm not on facebook it's somehow affecting my life. The adventures of the traveling mom. We had a great day eating candy, attempting to take photos, eating more candy, hanging out at nana and pops and eating more and more candy. As I type this Gabby is passed out on my bed (which never happens) and Nola is in a sugar crash coma in her crib. Today's weather could not have been more beautiful. The only thing missing was my new nephew Lucien Henry, born March 25th. Unfortunately he's still in the nicu but I'm confident he'll be home real soon.
