You come downstairs to find that there is only enough milk to fill ONE bowl of cereal and that one is going to the little guy. Devin calls to say his Mom was HIT BY A CAR! She is in the hospital after having major surgery. She pretty much had the entire left side of her body crushed. Fencing guy is not here to start the project. This backyard may not be getting done. What can happen to turn this day around?

Someone has taken these pictures at some point, but it is another amazing reminder how the written word can almost never do justice to seeing something yourself. This is Brady's. Thoughts that swim around in my head. Monday, March 5, 2007. Just goes to show you. The name of the coffeehouse that I tried so hard to think of was Brady's Cafe. How could I have forgotten that? I am ashamed of myself. I ended up calling a coffee shop in Kent, hoping someone would know. A great woman just informed me that it was called Brady's and it is now owned by Starbucks. I have to honestly tell you that I feel a little bit sick just at the thought. Dry vanilla latte, skim, no whip.".

We were able to make the trip to Ohio which allowed Ryan and Josh to meet their Grandpa Carl for the first time and visit family they had met before. Some of my Ohio girls. We actually managed to get a terrific shot for the Christmas card, but I don't want to ruin the surprise! The house gets a make over. Buds from the NICU.
