Where we've been lately. Sunday, August 9, 2009. And on to Portland. We arrived back in Seattle, came off the ferry, and headed to the train station for our trip to Portland to see my old poet friends, Jerry and Mary. The four-hours-or-so train ride through Washington and Oregon was fun. We especially enjoyed the viewing car with window-facing seats. Visit to the mighty Powell's bookstore.
