We have two annual events - our Spring Clean-Up (usually held in April) and our Labor Day Dog Swim. Each spring (usually in early or mid April), we clean up the park by picking up debris/poop, filling in holes with dirt or large rocks, and generally grooming the area so the park is clean and safe for the summer season. Rules for the City of Eau Claire Off-Leash Recreation Area. All dogs must be licensed and must display dog park tags. Handlers must leash dogs except when they are inside the off-leash area. Handlers must have their dog(s) under control at all times. Handlers may not let their dog(s) out of their sight. Handlers must have one leash per dog. Day use permits must be with the owner. An attending adult must closely supervise all children in the off-leash area. Handlers must always clean up after their dogs.

While the park is part of the Eau Claire City Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department, it is supported by a group within the community who promote, improve and help maintain the facility.
