Sunday, January 9, 2011. So, our first wine review of the new year, is Cupcake. It is a 2009 Chardonnay. The color of it is nearly clear. An extremely pale wine, with a very subtle flavor. By subtle, I'd go as far to say, nearly non-existent. It's also a dry wine, with no aftertaste. I mean NO aftertaste at all. I bought this bottle for $6.99 at Sam's. I think it was last year around Christmas and we're just now getting ready to drink. As it would turn out, it was one of the best wines I've had this year. My lovely wife and I bought a house in January, and to say the very least we've been having to spend a lot of time dealing with home repair. The move which lasted about 3 weeks was quite an endeavor as my self-employment created some issues. When the Wine Cellar is finally finished, I'll take some pictures and post them.
