ECHHO was organized in 1997 when it became clear to local church and community members that there were unmet needs among the elderly and disabled in Jefferson County. In addition to handling requests from care receivers and finding volunteers to assist them, Wilma is the “numbers” lady. She creates many of the reports required by different agencies and takes care of the bank deposit record keeping. She also generates ECHHO’s annual report.
