California Native Plant PR: May 2005
http://calnativeplants.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html
Comment-link {margin-left:.6em;}. California Native Plant PR. Monday, May 23, 2005. How Could I Forget? Hello, that's why I started this blog. How could I forget so quickly! The thing that reminded me of my mission in life was seeing all of the tropical plants for sale hanging in the blistering sun outside Whole Foods this morning. Without exception, each plant was in serious distress: wilting and/or fading from green to yellow or brown. Therefore, it only stands to reason that Whole Foods should offer u...

California Native Plant PR: January 2006
http://calnativeplants.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
Comment-link {margin-left:.6em;}. California Native Plant PR. Tuesday, January 31, 2006. Walking around my neighborhood can be very frustrating for me. Sure, the houses are lovely for the most part, and owners do a good job of keeping their homes clean. I appreciate all that. If I were to be plunked down in the middle of one of these gardens, I don't think I'd be able to tell where I was. The mixture of greenery is utterly confusing, incoherent. California Native Plant PR: November 2005

Comment-link {margin-left:.6em;}. California Native Plant PR. Wednesday, November 16, 2005. December 2005 Los Feliz Ledger Column - "Invasion of the Eco-Snatchers". The preservation, perpetuation and survival of California native plants depend on many factors. First and foremost, we have to use them in public and private landscapes. Second, but no less important, we must eliminate existing invasive non-native plants exotics from our yards and refrain from purchasing them in the future. Here are the worst...

Comment-link {margin-left:.6em;}. California Native Plant PR. Wednesday, June 29, 2005. Water in the Garden? Again, I feel compelled to answer back to the garden magazine I love so dearly. One might begin to wonder why I love it so much when I am always criticizing it. I'll have to think about that one. What the heck were these people thinking? While I want to be respectful of my favorite western lifestyle magazine, I have to speak up when I read articles that promote environmentally unsustainable garden...

I wish I knew who did so I could thank her or him. God talking with St Francis. GOD: Frank, you know all about gardens and nature. What in the world is going on down there in the U.S? What in the world happened to the dandelions, violets, thistles and the stuff I started eons ago? But it is so boring; it's not colorful. It doe...
