Today the clouds lifted and the sun cyphered through as we strolled through the courtyards of the Temple of Heaven. the temple itself was beautiful, but more enamoring to my eye were the people . Mothers with their babies,. After crashing for a couple of hours at the hotel, we were then picked up and escorted to a Peking Duck dinner and a Chinese Opera (which ended up being delightful, after the characters stopped singing...

Snapshots of life overseas. Thursday, November 30, 2006. Don't get me wrong. there are moments when i really enjoy life. like when my husband has me pinned down laughing so hard tears are dripping . or when i see a really cute, chubby baby smiling at me. moments like those. But that's not enough to keep me going. there has to be a point to all of this running around, earning money, spending it then worrying about how to get more. there has to be a reason we're here.
