Friday, November 7, 2014. October fun - Happy Halloween! The leaves change color, Starbucks brings out the pumpkin spice latte, and all I want to do is bake and enjoy the crisp fall weather. We spent one lovely Saturday at Eckherts farm. Because Gogo had gotten some free passes from work. Hurray for a free outing! The farm was so much fun. There were carnival rides, a hayride, a playground, swings, miniature golf, and lots more. It reminded me quite a bit of Cherry Crest Adventure Farm.

And yes, I am the mean mom/aunt that had the kids doing workbook pages over the summer. Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Aaron has played on my work's softball team for the past 2 years [they play in an Architect's Engineer's league with about 20 other firms from around the city]. Softball has been a great. Way for Aaron to get to know my co-workers and also for me to get to know my co-workers' families! That being said, it is THE LONGEST season ever. It goes from April to mid September, and by about July I am ready for it to be over! The grill masters getting ready for the BBQ afterwards.

Monday, August 5, 2013. The week-end after the Ott Reunion was Austin's baptism so we headed down to Tennessee on Thursday. On the way we stopped in Kentucky to visit my Great Aunt Gladys and her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Delmar. We had a pleasant visit with them before continuing on our way. It was the first time we had seen the Rays new house. It is very cute and in a nice neighborhood. I'm very happy for her. Bella gives it a try. Even Dad got in on the fun. August 5, 2013 at 3:22 PM.

It's supposed to flower later in the summer I believe. A Poblano pepper plant already popping peppers. The basil is really starting to take off.
