go-web-go: Browser tabbing shortcuts
http://ninak99.blogspot.com/2007/10/browser-tabbing-shortcuts.html
Thursday, October 11, 2007. My boss just sent me a link to an article with shortcuts for using tabs in IE7. I never use IE7, but I figured they probably borrowed the functionality from preexisting tabbed browsers. Whether or not that's the case, they do work in the latest version of Firefox. Here are the ones I found most obscure/useful:. Switch between tabs by pressing [Ctrl-Tab]. Automatically open a link in a new tab by clicking the link with the wheel button. go-web-go: August 2007
http://ninak99.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 13, 2007. So after uploading Comersus (a relatively painless process) onto the remote web server, i had to set it up using the installation wizard. I got a little scared with the wizard. I was afraid I didn't have the right information, that the interface was too bare bones, that I wouldn't be able to customize it all. I looked at the files and was like - OMG, there are so many! Thursday, August 9, 2007. Tuesday, August 7, 2007. At a state that I'm comfortable with. Lawrence spent some...

go-web-go: LAMP project #1 - RestEasy
http://ninak99.blogspot.com/2009/03/lamp-project-1-resteasy.html
Wednesday, March 4, 2009. LAMP project #1 - RestEasy. Restaurant Choosing Made Easy. I've been thinking about an application like this for a while. Back in the Bay Area, there was a restaurant chooser that did a similar thing, but the selection was very limited. I wanted to get a random recommendation from restaurants I liked - thus, the idea for RestEasy. The name will probably change, I just wanted to come up with something short and descriptive so I could start coding. What I've accomplished so far:.

go-web-go: February 2008

Saturday, February 16, 2008. Selenium testing - timing issues. Dynamic, asynchronous stuff is a bitch to test. Maybe it's just me, but I constantly have to put in "waitFor." style loops to just make sure fields are filled in or dropdowns are selected before a button gets clicked. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). go-web-go: it never ends, does it?
http://ninak99.blogspot.com/2007/10/it-never-ends-does-it.html
Wednesday, October 3, 2007. It never ends, does it? Carmel, Caroline, and Philip came over to our apartment yesterday for mahjong. That was cool because I still had to work on a bunch of my web stuff and I wouldn't be left at home alone again. I was rather productive last night. There was a bunch of little stuff I got done. I even created a project manager spreadsheet on Google Docs to track everythign I need to do. Yesterday night I was able to:. Update and standardize the coat descriptions.

Monday, March 31, 2008. Combination knitting sounds like it might get confusing in a complicated pattern.but then again.it probably wouldn't be that much more difficult. All you would have to do is look at the legs and make sure you always knit/purl into the front leg. Knitting backwards is something I still want to learn to do proficiently. Sunday, March 30, 2008. This is my first stashbusting project. I'm making the Chromium Star Blanket. 3/31/08 update: Here's a pic of my star blanket so far! In terms...

Crafty Cat: January 2008
http://sneakywiddlecraftycat.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 23, 2008. There was a thread on Ravelry about feeling sad when one of the little hearts next to the projects (signifying someone marked your project as a "favorite") disappeared. I was really happy when I got my first heart, and I just checked today to see that I had several more on several different projects! That gives me the warm fuzzies inside, especially seeing that they're all from different people, heeheeeee. :D. Starting over: Socks; Starting anew: Purses. I've seen that brand ...

Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Socks made from Laceweight Yarn. My first purchase from KnitPicks was pure impulse. I read about a sale, and visited the website for the first time. Actually it was also my first yarn purchase from an online yarn store (not counting Ebay). I was taken back by how *cheap* the yarn was! Granted, it was all laceweight yarn I was looking at. Still.$2-$4 for a hank.I totally splurged and bought 4 hanks each of 4 yarns [ details here. Monday, April 28, 2008. Monday, April 21, 2008.
