Neon Nails | Eclectic Enchantments
https://eclecticenchantments.wordpress.com/2013/09/02/neon-nails
Grab a pew, delve around and maybe you'll find something interesting. I sent hubby out at the weekend to get some storage boxes and a couple of see through shoe boxes. I was both delighted and surprised when he bought me home a set of nail varnishes. I was however slightly dubious since he bought them from B&M,. A store I don’t really associate with high quality beauty products. As you can see, the packaging was fine and the polishes come in a set of six colours. For only 2.99! Note to self, if you’...

Grab a pew, delve around and maybe you'll find something interesting. The Make Over – The Lingerie. I was lucky enough a couple of weeks ago to win a competition on Twitter that was run by @BouxAvenue. My prize was a gift card to spend in their stores or online at BouxAvenue.com. Before I really get into the post, I want to say how impressed I am with Boux Avenue, their lingerie and their customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Then there was the perfectly vintage gift card! You can ge...

Grab a pew, delve around and maybe you'll find something interesting. The Make Over – My First Outing! The time finally came where I had to plunge straight into the unknown and brave the world around me with my new look. No practising indoors and trying to perfect the techniques and know how, no shying away from the courage needed to put one foot in front of the other and actually leave the house as the new me. There was no escaping it, the time had come! First up is my lovely coat from Marks and Spencer.

Grab a pew, delve around and maybe you'll find something interesting. I am not feeling particularly well today so wont be able to cook as I had wanted to. Instead I thought I would post some of my favourite makes in the spirit of sharing more about myself. Everything here is made by me for someone special, family, friends and neighbours. They are made from Fimo clay and mounted on silver plated cuff link bases. This was a card I made for my friend and neighbour, who just graduated from University. For my...

Living la vita bella | Mama's Haven

GRIEF JOY. GRACE. Published on July 27, 2015. Living la vita bella. We have been living what for most people in cold countries is perceived as. 8220;the dream”. Slightly by accident, as most things happen with us, three and a half years ago, after an unsuccessful stint of trying to live in Greece, we decided to return back to Northern Ireland. But not before we made the decision that we liked Greece as a holiday location and we secured a place where we could return every year. How were we able to do that?

GRIEF JOY. GRACE. Published on August 8, 2015. On Love: A Letter to God. I will always think of our relationship in terms of. Not in the “Christian” way of before and after I received you. As my Lord and Saviour. But in the way of. It is no surprise to you, this redefinition. Of relationship terms on my part. I have never doubted that You had known from the very start what You had put in my womb. You knew my baby was only being lent to me for a very short time. You had made me head strong. A presence....

Book club – Happy Things

I’m very proud of my book club. Which I set up nearly six years ago as a way to meet people after I moved to Greenhithe. Through the book club I’ve made some friends for life, discovered books I would never otherwise have read, and had some of my most random and hilarious conversations. Photo Sunday: Boughton Monchelsea Place. August 16, 2015. August 16, 2015. I haven’t been out with my camera for weeks, so it’s great to be doing Photo Sunday again. Yesterday, my mum, sister and I went to Boughton Monchelsea Place, near Maidstone in Kent, for a spot of open air theatre, courtesy of the Changeling Theatre. Company (review coming later to The Blog of Theatre Things. If you have the chance to see Changeling in the future, I really recommend them; they’re completely bonkers, but in a ...

A quick happy thought for the day. August 2, 2015. August 2, 2015. To say this week has been hectic is possibly the biggest understatement since Michael Fish told us it might be a bit windy (some of the younger readers may need to Google that one). So no Photo Sunday, sadly, but here’s a quick happy thought to hopefully brighten your day. It’s been lovely to see so many people getting into #littlehappythings this week. If you missed it, check out this week’s blog post. For more info and come join the fun!
