Sky Way Trails watching over the habitat. On a south slope in the lower part of the Sabie valley you find Skyway Trails, Africa's longest aerial cable trail. The trail comes down in a beautiful isolated valley with a little perrenial stream lined by tall evergreen matumi trees (Breonadia salicina). Just past Induna Adventures. And the confluence of the Sabie, Sabaan and MacMac rivers, the valley becomes deep and narrow and the Sabie river climbs with several waterfalls. The irrigation canal which serves farmers downstream starts here on the farm Tevrede. The canal neatly seperates the riverine forest from the bushveld of the steep north slope (north facing). Shelley Freestone, one of the landowners on the steep north slope took some amazing photos of moths over the last couple of years.
