September 05, 2016. Why on earth do you want to be a priest? I was asked that a lot when I first began to discern a call to ordained ministry. Perhaps a better question might have been what do you have to offer the church? Outreach is a passion of mine and so during my first year at Trinity we began to reach out to the community through our "Shoe Project" and through our music program for local children.
