Hebrew for "home," Bayit is an independent organization that brings together a diverse community at a daily afterschool program that echoes the summer camp experience. Founded in Fall 2013, Evanston’s Bayit brings together a diverse community of Jewish children and families through a welcoming, convenient, fun and camp-like afterschool home . Bayit envisions its graduates to possess the knowledge, skills and spiritual endowment to be literate Jews in the 21st century. Bayit is developing a new model.
