Zola Rae Lunt: Fire and Ice
http://zolaraelunt.blogspot.com/2012/02/fire-and-ice.html
Tuesday, February 14, 2012. It's been a crazy winter weather-wise, and we've gone from warm desert fun to playing in the snow in just a couple of days. We headed down west of Santa Clara in SW Utah over the weekend with my dad. A gentle climb to the "Cave of Wonders". There are petroglyphs near Zola (she's a bully about reminding other kids not to touch them). They're so old they've re-patinated, making it hard to see them unless the light is right. Zola contemplates the Anasazi Sheep. Bump on a log.

Zola Rae Lunt: January 2010
http://zolaraelunt.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 16, 2010. The Ruler of Rome. I believe Zola is staking her claim to the Roman Empire. There are worse people to emulate than Marcus Aurelius. I'm pretty sure the philosopher-king wore Mickey Mouse ears on occasion. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Ruler of Rome. Conclusively Inconclusive (the T-Town to Boalsburg Pipeline). Evans (the good looking ones). The real Pennsylvania Dutch. Washington's Finest - the Cardons.

Zola Rae Lunt: February 2010
http://zolaraelunt.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 4, 2010. An original creation intended, so Zola said, to cheer up her old man. Zola now will only answer to "Maestro." I managed to convince the Maestro to perform an encore for the camera. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Conclusively Inconclusive (the T-Town to Boalsburg Pipeline). Evans (the good looking ones). Saturday, December 12, 2009. Zola colored in a little penguin and then shouted, "He's all tatted up! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Conclusively Inconclusive (the T-Town to Boalsburg Pipeline). Evans (the good looking ones). The real Pennsylvania Dutch. Washington's Finest - the Cardons.

Zola Rae Lunt: October 2009
http://zolaraelunt.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 24, 2009. Here's young Zola at her school, considering her options. Zola is getting to the age where she's starting to think about an eventual career. So far, here are the potential jobs she's investigating:. Not mechanical, civil, aerospace, or environmental. But a driver of trains. Choo-choo! It's a little difficult to find jobs at the topless bakery, the threat of burns being what it is, but she's still hopeful. (Zola is frosting Halloween sugar cookies.). 3 Keymaster / Doorkeeper.

Zola Rae Lunt: March 2010
http://zolaraelunt.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 11, 2010. Zola and Dirk hit The District for a couple of days earlier this week. Here are the highlights. As usual, click on individual pictures for a closer view. Looking for dinosaurs at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum. No sudden moves, and maybe we'll get out of this jam. The butterfly garden inside the museum was spectacular. This enormous butterfly has little transparent windows in its wings. The next morning, Zola decided she wanted a beard. Then she rolled her eyes at me.

Zola Rae Lunt: April 2012
http://zolaraelunt.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Easter Eggs. Sort of. Gotta love Easter, named for my favorite Near Eastern Fertility Goddess Ishtar. We're going Fertility-goddess lite at our house this year (a new baby tends to do that to a family). So, what better way to spend a Wednesday afternoon than making sugar cookies for Easter? Zola Rae Lunt: February 2012
http://zolaraelunt.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 19, 2012. On Friday, we headed down to St. George to see the petroglyphs at Little Black Mountain. It's only about a 15 minute drive south of town, but the glyphs are really nice and the BLM has done a good job of making it accessible. Click on photos to zoom. It's in rough shape because it was pecked into the sandstone (which wears rapidly), but I applied some filters to the second photo to get better contrast. Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Zola contemplates the Anasazi Sheep. I'm pretty ...

http://zolaraelunt.blogspot.com/2013/02/juno-is-one-this-week.html
Sunday, February 24, 2013. Juno is one this week! Here are some pictures from the first year in Juno's life. She has been such a fun, happy, playful miracle in our lives. Zola has been learning and growing like crazy, too. She is a great big sister. These are some of the highlights from April 2012 - February 2013. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
