AMBER ROCKS!: October 2008
http://amberocks.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 23, 2008. But alas, there were no political secrets to be found - only a bunch of confusion and a big mess. Big surprise there, huh? For this coming weekend, we have tickets to "Harmony by the River," which is a Barbershop Quartet contest. I won the tickets online. The funny thing is that I won tickets on the radio just last week for a movie. I think I'll go buy a lottery ticket soon, since my luck seems to be going pretty well. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). AMBER ROCKS!: November
http://amberocks.blogspot.com/2008/11/november.html
Sunday, November 30, 2008. Well, tomorrow is December. I set out this month to write every day. I didn't make it. But I wrote quite a lot. Counting today, I've written 18 out of the 30 days this month. I say that's not too shabby. I'll try to blog more often than I did before NaNoWriMo started, but it probably won't be quite as often as this month. I mean, right? Actually, she exceeded it! Well, thank you all for your support in my writing endeavors. As I said, I'm not done writing, but am definitely...

AMBER ROCKS!: Holiday Shopping
http://amberocks.blogspot.com/2008/11/holiday-shopping.html
Saturday, November 29, 2008. Black Friday. Why do they call it that? I don't remember hearing that term until a couple of years ago, but it could be that I just wasn't listening. I've kind of wondered how that term came to be. I started hypothesizing. Maybe it's because of how crazy it is out in the stores on that day. Maybe it's because, like yesterday, it can be so crazy that someone could get killed by the out-of-control crowds. Maybe. November 29, 2008 at 5:49 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

AMBER ROCKS!: July 2008
http://amberocks.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 21, 2008. So, in addition to the biggest change happening for me this summer -. I resigned from Marsing. I taught there for 5 years, and I feel good about that. It was a growing experience. I had a great principal my first 4 years there who really helped me come into my own as a teacher by his confidence in me as well as his direction. So, that's that for me. I'll let you know how it all turns out. Plus, check back and I'll post pics of our new furniture that will be delivered on Wednesday!

Thursday, May 17, 2007. I have a blog! Is that how I say it? I'm bloggin'. I have blogged. My blog is the hog dog smoggedy blog. Bloggalicious. Blog-diggety. OK, I'm done. Well, I don't really have much to say today. I'm really busy. I'm supposed to be teaching, but I'm reading e-mails and apparently creating a blog instead. Well, in all fairness, the kids are all working on their own stuff, and I help them when they ask for it, so it's not like I'm totally ignoring my duties. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
