I began training as a piano tuner/technician when I was 18. I studied for four years at the London College of Furniture gaining a Higher National Diploma. Since leaving college in 1991 I have worked continuously in the piano trade. Throughout my career I have gained experience and contacts within the trade. All acoustic pianos should be regularly tuned, normally every six months. Most of my clients ask me to contact them when their piano is due to be tuned. Appointments are made for a specific time and I make every effort to be punctual. My charge for a standard piano tuning is 52, if any extra costs are to be made I will discuss this before any work is started.
