Dragon Carrots: Sprout me.
http://dragoncarrots.blogspot.com/2011/09/sprout-me.html
Wednesday, September 21, 2011. This is too good not to share so I've returned from the long winter to blog gardening again. How clever can you get to make a attachment that waters your garden using any old bottle available (any bottle yet to be confirmed). Get (not alot more) information here. If you are going to order one let me know and I'll chip in for an extra 1 and shipping! September 22, 2011 at 11:59 AM. I was wondering when you were going to come out of hibernation. To be Self Sufficient -The Good Life. Monday, 25 February 2013. The Easiest Cheese in the World. Some types of cheese can be made quite easily with basic things in your kitchen. If you have been entertaining the idea of making cheese, this curd cheese is a great way to start on a successful note. It is creamy and plain, with a slight lemony taste and can be used in cheesecake, dips, on toast for breakfast, sprinkled on nachos, salads or made into Paneer which I will show you as well. 5 tlbs lemon juice.

Flood Street Farmlet: December 2009
http://floodstreetfarmlet.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 15 December 2009. Yes, we finally did it. Weekend before last we were able to complete the shed! With help from DW and DM the gutters went up, the roof went on, and and all the final bits and pieces were completed. I can't say it was fun, a day on a glaring and hot roof isn't the most pleasant way to spend time. It's strange, but now, at the end of it all I'm left feeling a bit empty and unsure of where to go next. Then again, maybe it's totally the opposite? So, where to now? Only 1 to 1.5 ...

Flood Street Farmlet: Update October 2010
http://floodstreetfarmlet.blogspot.com/2010/10/update-october-2010.html
Friday, 8 October 2010. How's that for a title? Yeah, I thought so too. We've had somewhere around 15 chicks over the last few weeks, 5 hatched out by a bantam, and I'm pretty sure we've got 10 left out of 12 or so eggs that hatched in the incubator. Not a bad start to the year, and we'll be trading some incubator time with another gentleman for a couple of chooks of different breeds. Here's Lilly, Lil, LillyPilly or #@&*! Little Lilly is pretty cute! 8 October 2010 at 8:39 pm. Hi Duck Herder,. Under The...

Flood Street Farmlet: July 2010
http://floodstreetfarmlet.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, 22 July 2010. Thoughts On The Glasshouse. At the moment the glasshouse is just, well, a house made of glass. Nothing in the way of thermal mass to store heat, and enough loose joints to make sure it doesn't quite work properly. Over the last few weeks, reading along with John Michael Greer's series of posts about Green Wizardry. I've toyed with a few ideas about how to make it more useful, or more correctly, how to make it do what I think it should do. Obviously heating the water with a solar p...

Flood Street Farmlet: May 2011
http://floodstreetfarmlet.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, 26 May 2011. But not yet delivered! The whole experience has certainly been a learning one. We've got a fair way to go to get back on track, but this is the first positive step in that direction, and it's exciting to finally be taking it. As much as we will miss the land, we wont miss the grief that went along with it. Links to this post. Wednesday, 4 May 2011. On the other hand, it's great for making friends and having a good time. We've managed to get out and about on the odd occasion too.
