stuck e-brake trouble - Car Help
http://car-help.livejournal.com/39506.html
Stuck e-brake trouble - Car Help. Dec 19th, 2010 09:52 pm. My boyfriend has a brand new Mitsubishi Outlander, and our weather here is freezing. Today his shifter, and then his e-brake, locked up due (I think) to weather. I suggested he stop using the e-brake until the weather is a bit warmer, but in the meantime, any suggestions for unlocking it? PS He's mobile now, and his dad also figures it's cold weather related - but feel free to provide any other input if you have it :). 2010-12-20 05:11 am (UTC).

Finding a repair shop - Car Help. Finding a repair shop. Jan 12th, 2011 02:37 pm. How do you go about finding a good repair shop? I'm looking for one in another state, so I can't go visit and take the car in, but I'm wondering if there are any specific questions I can ask over the phone. I'm trying to figure out how much it would be to fix a piece of plastic that I broke off the rear bumper. The estimate given to me ($1000) seems really high, when my first thought was to just glue it back on. I dunno wha...

Question about gear shift - Car Help. Question about gear shift. Jan 12th, 2011 01:51 am. Apologies in advance if this sounds noobish, and for my lack of knowledge of technical terms (I'll probably use 'thing' a lot). I'm actually a learner driver, but I own a car ('96 Holden Astra, automatic) and am going for my provisional license in a couple of weeks. My question is - is there a way I could fix this myself for cheaper? Could anyone give me some advice? Edit: picture of the actual bits. Wire would prob...

Transmission q from a noob. - Car Help. Transmission q from a noob. Jan 17th, 2011 07:14 am. I have a 1999 Chevy Blazer with automatic trans and about 90,000 miles on it. Once in a while, when I shift from park to drive, it seems to slip a gear. This doesn't happen very often. I make sure to completely stop before shifting and it still does it. It's done this once in a while pretty much since I've had the car (last April). I'm completely flat broke right now, ugh. Any help is appreciated. :). For a secon...

Stupid Epica - Car Help. May 24th, 2010 06:34 pm. Could it have a faulty throttle body or does this sound like a whole other issue?
