Youth drop in centre. Every Tuesday to Friday afternoon from 2.30pm to 5pm, a youth drop in centre is open for high school aged young people to just ‘hang out’ in a fun, safe and supervised place. The Edge is a Youth Centre designed to engage as many local teenagers as possible in structured, positive activity during a time when they may be alone and/or exposed to negative activities (eg: after school, during school holidays). To provide direct intervention programs and activities for local students who are ‘at risk’ of isolation, anxiety and loneliness or being exposed to, or involved in, negative and / or antisocial behaviour due to lack of supervision. To create a safe and supervised space for local teenagers.
