July 6th, 2009. Day 29: Topeka, Kansas to Saint Joseph, Missouri. Jul 6th, 2009 at 5:38 AM. It blew consistently from the northeast at between 10 to 15 mph all day long. I had checked the weather report last night so was expecting this. I just took what the wind gave me and plodded slowly along. I don't think we're in Kansas anymore, Litespeed! Friday, December 31, 2010. Physically I am uncomfortable, but making improvements with each week. Mentally, the ordeal was extremely stressful and frustrating because I had no control over what was happening in my body. I am where I am today thanks to my surgeon and infectious disease doctors from Hershey Medical Center. I could not have come this far without their expertise.
