Edisto Beach, South Carolina. The most peaceful place on earth. Sunday, April 16, 2006. We appreciate Edisto even more now. Edisto, on the other hand, is much more of a "sit on the beach and read a book" sort of place. There isn't that overly-commercialized atmosphere at Edisto. Traffic at Edisto is almost nonexistent (not so at Hilton Head! And we can pretty much let our kids run free without having to worry about them. Posted by WB at 4:55 PM.
