Saturday, July 23, 2016. Millions of Peaches, Peaches for Me. After throwing a big ass hissy fit at the grocery stores around here for selling me peaches that won't get ripe no matter what and actually returning a $5 package of apple-like peaches, I asked Husband to take me to Porter, the Oklahoma Peach Capitol to buy a few of the fruit. Not one to do things half way, this happened:. 1 1/2 bushels of peaches (seconds) for $60. Yeh, what was I thinking? I have three more cupboards just like this. Ha.
