A DAY IN THE LIFE. Thursday, August 14, 2014. While in the Sunshine State, we made it back to the Kennedy Space Center to see the Space Shuttle Atlantis. It was an amazing sight- one that we will never forget. You could stand so close that it was almost touchable- almost but not quite (I am sure they strategically placed it that way). A DAY IN THE LIFE. Thursday, August 14, 2014. In the Fall of 2010 I gave up on our guest bathroom. I announced to Ben that I was tired of cleaning the disgusting yellow toilet and the forever stained linoleum floor. It was in this moment of weakness that we hatched a plan: we will demo the bathroom on Thanksgiving weekend and remodel it ourselves between that break and Christmas break- we were so naive (a nice way to say just plain old stupid). A DAY IN THE LIFE. Thursday, June 19, 2014. Spring Break at Mt. Bachelor. We traveled to Mt. Bachelor again this year from Spring Break. Fabulous family time- skiing, miniature golfing, swimming, brewery hopping and scrabble playing! Saturday, June 14, 2014. Back in March we planned a weekend get away with the Hendersons. Seabrook was the destination and clamming was the main activity (among many other fun adventures). Thanks guys for the awesome time! It was a much needed respite! Thursday, June 12, 2014.

A DAY IN THE LIFE. Saturday, April 27, 2013. A bike ride for doughnuts on a Saturday morning- it doesn't get much better than this! Tuesday, April 23, 2013. We have been dreaming about skiing Mt. Bachelor for a few years now and finally made it happen this past spring break! Wow, what an awesome experience- at times it felt like we had the mountain to ourselves, we skied some very fresh POW and Henry has officially mastered the black diamond runs! Most importantly, now I am ready for the Amazing Race! Friday, February 21, 2014. New Years in Sunriver. How do you make sure that five busy families that live somewhere on the I-5 corridor between Portland, OR and Lake Stevens, WA see each other at least once every two years? But oh man was it worth the wait!
