More Words to Ponder. Bits and pieces from the messy room that is my brain. Friday, February 18, 2011. Continuing the saga that started with Around the Universe in 16 sandwiches. I once again entered the doors of Erbert and Gerbert’s (E&G). As a member of the sandwich society, I get a free sandwich if I try all 16 sandwiches on the menu. This is actually a sequel post to my friend, Steveatrandom’s blog. If you haven’t read that, you may want to read his blog first. He got to deliver meals on wheels a couple weeks ago and last week I decided to take a turn. I had read Steve’s blog previously so I was aware that one cooler contained the hot items and the other cooler contained the cold items&...

More Words to Ponder. Bits and pieces from the messy room that is my brain. Thursday, March 3, 2011. Wednesday night I had the pleasure of dining at our church potluck. One of the signature items was a tricked out hot dog. My son was raving about them having sampled one at a youth event last week. He said they were good but made him awfully thirsty. Keep checking the blog to see if the car lasts long enough for me to try the remaining 14 sandwiches at Erb and Gerb’s. Good eating everyone.

I had to keep myself from laughing because it was so strange to see her acting like that. She said, very seriously. “Mom, dad, I am going to marry Matthew.”. 8220;It was great, we even got two desserts, jell-o and pudding.”. And as she left for school and I drove off to work, I resolved once again to be the best husband and father I can be.

More Words to Ponder. Bits and pieces from the messy room that is my brain. Monday, April 25, 2011. Sandwich #3–Comet Morehouse. I’m very behind in blogging. I’ve got several things I wanted to write about, but alas, have not found time to get it done. But I’ve used that excuse too many times already so I’ll just press on. First, the good points. IT WASN’T TUNA! Now for the story. If you remember from. The Bornk Sandwich blog. The E&G web site. Alas, I don’t have a coloring sheet link,. And an “alr...

More Words to Ponder. Bits and pieces from the messy room that is my brain. Saturday, January 23, 2010. I did say I was going to write about my bible study class. Since it actually occurred over halloween weekend 3 months ago, I should probably get this done. And revised by John W. Rogerson. It was very good, it answered questions I’ve had about the bible for many years. I still have a lot of questions, but it was nice to get a few answers. Total class time was 10-12 hours and covered the entire bible, b...

More Words to Ponder. Bits and pieces from the messy room that is my brain. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. I’ll Miss You, Grandpa! I said goodbye to my grandpa a few weeks ago. After celebrating a really nice Easter with his wife, children, and a few grand and great grandkids, his earthly journey came to an end. It was a very sad day when they retired and moved to town. But even their house in town has special memories for me. There was an unfinished basement where we could have fun playing Skittles. He didn&#...
