Hurdy Gurdy
Building a Hurdy Gurdy at home. After finding out that a Hurdy Gurdy (or Drehleier as they are called here in Germany) costs far more than any normal person earns in a month I decided to try to build one! It seemed like a good idea at the time. I started in July 2001 and hoped to be finished by July 2002. In actual fact I was finished around Easter 2002 which meant I had needed only 8 of the 12 months I had planned. Here is a lesser detailed documentation of my second Hurdy Gurdy.
