Capturing our world, one snapshot at a time. Saturday, January 31, 2009. After leaving Vermillion, we traveled east on U.S. Highway 6 towards the city of Lorain, Ohio. The sun was sinking lower in the sky, and sunset was within a couple of hours. Once we arrived in Lorain we found Lakeview park along Lake Erie fairly easily. The park in itself was perfect. I took on some new responsibilities at work the past couple of weeks, as well as being just plain.lazy! Hope everyone's Easter was grand, I know ours was! Now this was exciting! All of a sudden the pilot started dumping bags and bags of plastic eggs from the helicopter! She was not cautious with them either!

There is only one way in and out, so to get to our next stop, the Barnegat Lighthouse, we had to drive 20 miles past it and back-track on the island to it.
