Here is Jerry's 1946 Mills Constellation jukebox. It plays 20. Of the 78 rpm records the precursor to the 45 rpm with the big hole. 78's were 10" in diameter and held one song on each side. They were made till 1959, 45 rpm's came out in the late 40's,. As did the LP. He stripped the Mills down to it's aluminum shell (Made by Bell Helicopter) and repainted/refurbished all of the components. He has several hundred 78's ranging from old rock to. This is Jerry's model of the Cutty Sark clipper ship model by Revell, his first ship model. Jerry had always been interested in models-all types, as a kid. Right before he got married in 1967 he got this large Revell plastic kit of the Cutty Sark clipper ship. He worked on it in Germany, while in the Army.
