http://edtechnot.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
This is the edtechnot.com blog. Where educational technologists come to think! Sunday, October 28, 2007. Sticking a fork in it! My response to Jeff from the economist sums up six years of watching nothing happen. I am sorry for my lack of response to the Economist feature on ed tech. I am back in the classroom My Blog. After finishing up an MS in ed tech and am more disillusioned than ever about the role of ed tech in US schools. Oh well. The dark side wins. Edtechnot.com for the last time. Hi Jim –.

This is the edtechnot.com blog. Where educational technologists come to think! Saturday, April 25, 2009. NCTE tries to define 21st C Writing - -LOL. This e-School news article. This sounds like an organization feeling a loss of control trying to control a social phenomenon. Good luck with that. What do you think? Posted by Jim Forde. I was hoping for more than in infomercial when I awoke. I'll update the blog over the next few days and let you know some of my impressions. Posted by Jim Forde. You're g...

This is a great article covering the idea that podcasts may be better that in person lectures for college students. I must admit that it makes some very compelling points that I agree with. This is especially true after downloading a number of great lectures to my iPhone from iTunes university. And let me know what you think. Posted by Jim Forde.

This is the edtechnot.com blog. Where educational technologists come to think! Saturday, February 21, 2009. Ed Tech and the Stimulus Package. So what does the stimulus bill do for ed tech? Here are some reactions from the ed tech press. Apparently 696 million brings us back to the 2004 level, but doubles some recent funding. I'll take it. You and I both know where the devil is though. What will an actual classroom teacher see at the end of all of this? Posted by Jim Forde. Ed Tech and the Stimulus Package.

Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Tools to Create Video Lessons. In preparation for my summer tech training, I have been evaluating tools to create video lessons. These tools could be used to create flipped lessons where the students watch the video outside of class. These tools make the videos interactive and also allow teachers to see if students actually watched the video before class. Of the three services, Zaption provides the best analytics.
